The movie "Midnight Runners" directed by Kim Joo-hwan, starring actor Park Seo-jun and Kang Ha-Neul, is a remake of a Japanese drama. It was entered into a copyright agreement earlier this year. The concept of the original work is reflected and the content and flow are adapted to the Japanese sentiment and reality.
The movie is an investigative action film about a story of two young college students who are caught up in the kidnappings they witnessed. However, the only thing they believe in is their youth and their major books.
In Japan, it will air in Nihon TV (NTV) as a drama entitled "Midnight Runner." The lead role is played by Johnny's youth stars. Hirano Syo plays Park Seo-jun's role as a motivated police student named Gi-Joon, and Kento Nakajima plays the role of Hee-Yeol played by Kang Ha-Neul, a theoretical sandalwood police student.
It is a mystery whether the remake of "Midnight Runners," which was popular in Korea, will be successful in Japan.
Meanwhile, Midnight Runner will air on Nippon TV in April.
