SBS Sangam Tower studios and offices are now confirmed closed after a nursery teacher tested positive for COVID-19.
As reported by Yonhap News on August 20, a nursery teacher at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gul, Seoul was tested and diagnosed with coronavirus. As a result, the SBS management shut down the entire office building.
A representative from the SBS shared that the SBS Prism Tower will be closed for two days, though there are no major changes in the schedule of the broadcast production. The television shows are airing without any interference since all the programs are transmitted from its headquarters in Mok-dong in Western Seoul.
According to reports, SBS management will quarantine all officials who had contact with the teacher and its neighborhood until Friday.
South Korea is now getting a spike with the infected numbers of the virus since the resurgens came in a week ago. It has been reported that three actors are now positive with the virus and are in strict isolation facilities.
The film industry recently recovered from the drought but will be in close monitoring to avoid the spread of the virus.
