On August 27, the singer-actress shared another milestone through her Instagram account. The good news is that she is marrying her boyfriend who is two years younger than her after three months of dating.
According to her interview with Sports Chosun, Bae Seul Gi is aware of the age difference and the time they had spent together. She laughed and shared, "I knew it was an acquaintance and yet we decided to marry after three months of dating."
Bae Seul Gi's future husband is a YouTuber influencer named Shim-Seop with 280K subscribers on his YouTube channel under the name "Lee Seop TV". He is a businessman and through his YouTube channel he is popular with the younger generations.
Shim-Seop channel provides content to the viewers about social issues, romance, psychology, and politics. He is also handling a consulting agency called "Rising YouTube".
The couple had their wedding scheduled in September but due to the pandemic they faced challenges with how the set up will be. Bae Seul Gi shared, "We already made the announcement but with the present situation of the resurgence of COVID-19 we struggle with all the wedding arrangements".
Bae Seul Gi shared her happiness as she wrote a letter to her fans in her SNS. Bae wrote, "I have been present on television for over 20 years. I have been able to withstand life difficulties with an anxiety deep within my heart. But now I met someone who made me realize and deal with all the challenges. Though he is younger than me, he is a man with a big and warm heart. The man I loved is a non-celebrity but his heart is kind and good for me."
