We are already near in the second part of the year, yet there are still lots of new Korean content to be released this 2022. Aside from K-Dramas, these upcoming K-movies are set to meet the viewers anytime soon.
Though "Alien," "The Moon," and other Korean films included in the list have no specific release date yet, they are all coming this year and you should already include them to your watchlist.
'Alien'
After her successful movie "Space Sweepers" and drama "Twenty Five, Twenty One," Kim Tae Ri will have her immediate return in the sci-fi film "Alien."
The story will start during the Goryeo Dynasty when a time gate connects the past and the present suddenly appears. Taoists, an ancient tribe from the said dynasty, will meet the people from the present while in search of the long-lost legendary sword.

It also marks Kim Woo Bin's big-screen comeback along with Ryu Jun Yeol, Yoo Jae Myung, So Ji Sub, and more.
'Bogota: City of the Lost'
After so many canceled filming schedules for almost two years due to COVID-19, Song Joong Ki's highly-anticipated movie, "Bogota: City of the Lost" is finally preparing for its release this year. Set in the backdrop of Bogota in Columbia, it depicts the stories of a group of people who are ready to risk anything to survive.
Lee Hee Joon, Ryu Seung Beom, Jo Hyun Chul, and actress Juana del Rio are all cast to join the "Vincenzo" star in the film.
'Concrete Utopia'
Starring Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young, these A-list South Korean stars, are expected to dive into a new world as their forthcoming disaster-thriller movie, "Concrete Utopia." It revolves around the lives of survivors, who experienced a massive earthquake that turned their city into chaos.
Based on the famous webtoon series "Pleasant Neighbor," the movie adaptation is slated to air in cinemas in the second half of 2022. Lotte Entertainment is confirmed to distribute the film.
'High Five'
Yoo Ah In has another film entry for this year. He has been active in participating in different film genres, which helps him build a great acting portfolio. The award-winning actor is back to headline this thriller movie "High Five."
Story of five people who unpredictably develop superpowers after receiving organ transplants. They'll start their journey together fighting against the people who want to steal their powers. Actors Lee Jae In, Ahn Jae Hong, Ra Mi Ran, and Kim Hee Won will gather together for this exciting film slated to air in the second half of 2022.
'The Moon'
The ever-talented EXO member and actor Do Kyungsoo a.k.a D.O. will have his big-screen return with the sci-fi movie "The Moon." It follows the story of a man who is brave to face space alone and a man residing on earth trying to save him from danger.
Aside from the idol-actor, the space-themed film will also star Kim Hee Ae and Seol Kyung Gu. New stills were already released by the production company. This gives fans the thrill of EXO D.O.'s new project. Kim Young Hwa directed the movie and is scheduled to meet the audience in theaters this year.
Production already concluded filming last October 2021 and is now in post-production.
