In a report cited by a local media portal, "Project Wolf Hunting" director and screenwriter Kim Hong Sun talk about his working relationship with Seo In Guk and how he was like portraying the antagonist character.
In the movie, the South Korean heartthrob veered away from his usual boy-next-door role and surprised his fans with major transformations by playing one of South Korea's most wanted criminals Jong Du.
During the interview, the director revealed how Seo In Guk was determined to play the role.
"When In Guk was filming for the first time, he really made up his mind and wanted to do it," he said.

Despite this, the director cited how he perfectly played Jang Dong Yoon, and even described Seo In Guk as a great actor.
With this, he mentioned that the 34-year-old star will showcase more in the future and will surely get better as he gets older.
Due to his versatility as an actor, director Kim Hong Sun says he wanted to work with Seo In Guk in the future.
Seo In Guk's Movie 'Project Wolf Hunting' Tops Korean Box Office
Joining Seo In Guk in the "Project Wolf Hunting" cast are Jang Dong Yoon, Choi Gwi Hwa, and veteran actor Sung Dong Il as the lead stars while Jung So Min lays supporting character.
Interestingly, the thriller action movie is the duo's reunion project after making a cameo in the 2019 K-drama "Abyss" where they both played grim reapers.
As the movie had its theatrical release on September 21, "Project Wolf Hunting" leads the Korean box office.
In a report, the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network cited that the Seo In Guk starred film ranked first at the box office among films released in the first week.
Moreover, the action thriller film shows steady double box office sales along with Hyun Bin's "Confidential Assignment 2," which surpassed over 5 million viewers.
