Kim Yoo Jung Returns To Netflix With Romantic Film '20th Century Girl'
On September 26, famous online streaming giant Netflix dropped the first-ever trailer of its soon-to-release Korean movie "20th Century Girl," which stars Kim Yoo Jung, Byeon Woo Seok, Park Jung Woo, and Noh Yoon Seo.
The romance movie "20th Century Girl" will tell the arduous yet heart-fluttering first love of the 17-year-old Na Bo Ra of 1999, with whom she prioritize friendship before love, and the return of her first love in the 21st century.
'20th Century Girl' Trailer Showcases Na Bo Ra's Journey With Her First Love
The clip starts during a normal winter day when Na Bo Ra (Kim Yoo Jung) comes across a videotape containing her memories from 1999. When Yeon Doo, her best friend bashfully tells her that her heart has been stolen.
Yeon Doo falls in love at first sight with her classmate Baek Hyun Jin (Park Jung Woo). Despite only knowing about his name, Na Bo Ra is determined to make sure her best friend's first love works out and promises to know more about Baek Hyun Jin for her.
As the trailer continued, Bo Ra's journey of collecting pieces of information about Hyun Jin is shown. Through Baek Hyun Jin's closest friend, Poong Woon Ho (Byeon Woo Seok), Bo Ra learns more detailed information about Yeon Doo's first love such as his height, interests, etc., and she naturally becomes close with the two guys.

Later on, as she spends more time with the two guys, Na Bo Ra starts to develop feelings for Poong Woon Ho, which she shyly confesses in an email to her best friend.

Giving viewers more of what to expect from the movie, Netflix also released a teaser poster, where Na Bo Ra focuses on what's ahead while holding up a camcorder. While her eyes and attention are glued on her best friend's crush, Bo Ra ends up falling in love herself, leaving fans and viewers curious about who she's filming on her camcorder and who she's looking at affectionately.
There was also a caption on the poster that says "Everything we wanted to know about first loves."
Meanwhile, "20th Century Girl" to premiere on Netflix this coming October 21.
