Han Ji Min recalled her years-long career as an actress and spoke about playing various roles in movies and series.
The top star was among the celebrities who attended Actors House held on October 8 at the KNN Theater in Busan.
While on eyes on her dazzling beauty, she opened up about her thoughts regarding her slew of notable projects such as "Miss Baek," "All In" and her recent K-drama "Our Blues."
Han Ji Min Talks About Career Slump
The 39-year-old star is among those who started her career as a model. She then made her acting debut in the 2003 K-drama "All In" playing the role of young Song Hye Kyo.
From then on, she continued to wow the viewers with her outstanding performance through her first ever lead role "Good Person" followed by the iconic "Jewel in the Palace" all in the same year.
As she slowly cemented her name in the entertainment industry, she admitted that she once felt "shamed" and hit a slump that made her realize about her career path.

She admitted that there's a "sense of shame" after seeing that she has been "doing similar things" for the past years joining only rom-com series.
"I play the main character in dramas, but I didn't insist on the main character in movies," she said, pointing out that she wanted to "find diversity" by trying out various roles even in small films.
Following her hiatus, one of Han Ji Min's remarkable comeback is playing the lead role in a thriller drama .
Han Ji Min's Look Back at her Transformation in 'Miss Baek'
Far from her usual on-screen appearance, Han Ji Min made a radical transformation for the 2018 film "Miss Baek."
At the time, she was used to playing roles usually in the rom-com genre, however, she realized that she wanted to show more to the public through her flexibility as an actress; hence the film was offered to her.
In a report cited by a media outlet, the actress says she wants "to become an actor who continues to act steadily if given the opportunity."
Lo and behold, she joined the cast of "Miss Baek" and played the titular role of Baek Sang Ah, with child actress Kim Shi Ah.
Baek Sang Ah exudes a rough image as the character is an ex-convict who ends up protecting a child from abuse.
In the film, she dons a remarkable transformation, showing wrinkles, and colored hair, purposely smoked for the scene, and even got drunk to naturally portray the character.
The actress says that upon reading the script, its as if someone lit a fire inside of her, and was furious upon knowing more about social problems
She said that without second thoughts, Han Ji Min agreed to appear in the film.
"The movie gave me courage. I was usually worried about everything in detail, but it changed after that movie," she said.
Han Ji Min's Upcoming Dramas
After the star-studded "Our Blues" Han Ji Min is set to headline back-to-back projects in 2023.
After the upcoming series "Yonder" with Shin Ha Kyung, Jung Jin Young, and her reunion with veteran actress Lee Jung Eun, Han Ji Min will also star in the drama series "Hip."
She will be working alongside Lee Min Ki and EXO's Suho for the K-drama.
In addition, she is also in talks to join "Here" a drama series directed by Kim Kyu Tae of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and "Out Blues."
