Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young's new movie "Concreate Utopia" continues to create a mark at the box office. As the thriller-drama film officially hit theaters, the star-studded movie scored a new milestone.
'Concerete Utopia' Hits 3 Million Moviegoers
In a report, "Concrete Utopia" hit another million mark after the Korean Film Council garnered a total of 3,000,036 on August 24, showcasing that the movie's new achievement in just 16 days since the premiere.
Interestingly, the South Korean heartthrob plays as Park Bo Young's husband, as she takes on the role of Myung Hwa, a former nurse who helps the survivors with her knowledge and warm personality.
As mentioned, "Concrete Utopia," which was helmed by Uhm Tae Hwa of "Vanishing Time," is based on the second part of the webtoon "Happy Boy."
Apart from hitting the 3 million mark, the South Korean movie has been invited to three international festivals.
"Concrete Utopia" will be screened at the 56th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival from October 5 to October 15.
In the same month, viewers will get to see this at the Hawaii International Film Festival.
Adding to the list of international events is the Toronto International Film Festival, which will be happening in September. "Concrete Utopia" will represent South Korea in other countries, featuring 60 films for the first wave of selections.
On the other hand, global viewers will also witness the masterpiece headlined by top stars Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young as the thriller drama movie has been pre-sold to 152 countries. This includes France, Italy, Poland, and selected Asian countries.
