As reported by a media outlet, the "Reborn Rich" star mentioned his fellow top star's name when asked about his all-time favorite movie.
According to Song Joong Ki, he has a lot of favorite Korean movies, but one of his all-time favorites is the romance drama "The Shameless," starring Kim Nam Gil and Jeon Do Yeon.
Taking about the movie's premise, he said, "I liked the subtle feeling of whether senior Kim Nam Gil likes senior Jeon Do Yeon or not, so I watched it more than 10 times," expressing how hooked he is with the movie's storyline.
Released in 2015, "The Shameless" was nominated at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard category.
In addition, the movie also received nods at prestigious ceremonies like the Grand Bell Awards, the Blue Dragon Film Awards, and the Baeksang Arts Awards.
It depicts the story of getting caught up in an unexpected love triangle.

While "Hopeless" is one of Song Joong Ki's big screen projects after "Reborn Rich," the actor revealed an interesting story regarding his scar.
As seen in the teaser photos, the top star, who takes on the role of Chi Geon, has a deep scar on his face.
During the interview, Song Jong Ki revealed that he had the scar when he was little, but the production team opted not to hide it and instead used it as part of his character.
"I actually have a scar from scratching when I was young," he said, adding that instead of covering it just like what the other production team did in his previous works, the makeup team working for "Hopeless" flaunted it.
"It was actually nice to reveal the actual scar," Song Joong Ki added.
What to Expect in Song Joong Ki's Movie 'Hopeless'
After making its debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, "Hopeless" is set to hit the big screen on October 11.
The upcoming noir film depicts the story of Yeon Gyu, played by Hong Xa Bin, who wants to escape his hellish life but unexpectedly meets mid-level gang boss Chi Geon, who is behind a criminal organization.
Initially titled "Hwaran," Song Joong Ki has decided not to receive an appearance fee because, according to the actor, he believes in the director's ability to create an interesting project.
