Directed by Kim Chang Hoon, Song Joong Ki's movie is a thriller-crime drama that depicts the story of 17-year-old Yeon Gyu, played by Hong Xa Bin.
He wanted to get out of his hellish life and move away from his abusive stepfather. With this goal of his, he saves up in hopes of moving to the Netherlands with his mother. However, he unexpectedly meets a gang boss named Chi Geon, played by Song Joong Ki.
Born and raised in the town, he is a mid-level boss in a criminal organization who recruits Yeon Gyu to be part of their group.
As seen in teasers, his role is far different from his previous character. According to the actor, he and the team embraced his imperfections and used them as part of his character.
