Rowoon's Chest-Baring Look at 'The Matchmakers' Press Conference Criticized
There's no doubt how Rowoon made fans swoon over his boy next door charms; however, this time, some noticed his unusual styling at "The Matchmakers" press conference.
Over the internet, netizens discuss the actor's odd styling, specifically his chest-baring top. Although some praised Rowoon's head-turning visuals for looking "like a prince" at the media briefing, others were disappointed in how he appeared on stage.
In an online community, netizens discussed Rowoon's outfit, expressing their mixed reaction to his visuals. Some also thought it was poorly styled for a press conference and that the outfit didn't accentuate his features, especially his height and built.
Moreover, others also pointed out how Rowoon's hair did not suit the overall look.
As seen at the press conference, he donned a flowy top with shawl collar from the Saint Laurent 2023 F/W collection that costs 3.35 million won. The look is paired with satin trousers worth 2.79 million won, while the pointy shoes cost 2.15 million won.
Overall, Rowoon's outfit at the press conference has a whopping total of 8.29 million won.
Is 'The Matchmakers' K-drama Worth the Hype?
Historical K-drama "The Matchmakers" is Rowoon's newest series and his first time working with Cho Yi Hyun.
It depicts the unlikely connection between a young widower, Shim Jung Woo (Rowoon), and a widow named Jung Soon Deok (Cho Yi Hyun), who have the same experience with the deaths of their loved ones.
Other than their chemistry, viewers will get to see a roster of talented stars joining the series as "The Matchmakers" cast includes Shin Jung Hye, Park Ji Won, and Jung Bo Min as Hanyang City's three sisters, while Oh Ye Joo plays Cho Yi Hyun's sister-in-law.
In addition, Jo Han Chul plays as the King of Joseon, while "The Killer's Shopping List" star Jin Hee Kyung portrays the Queen.
Airing every Monday and Tuesday, viewers will be able to watch Rowoon's new drama via KBS2 as well as Wavve and Viki for global users.
Meanwhile, "The Matchmakers" kicks off with a promising start as the series premieres with number 1 ratings.
