Veteran actress Kim Hae Sook talks about her new hobby that others might find weird.

The actress, who recently returned to the big screen with her upcoming movie "Our Season," appeared as a guest on the SBS entertainment program "My Little Old Boy."

During her appearance, the award-winning star shared her life before her acting career and now that she has spent years and years as a celebrity.

Kim Hae Sook tells "My Little Old Boy" that she spent her high school years in an all-girls school.

The actress also shared that her mom would often fetch her on the way to school, but recalled the feeling of liberty when she asked her mother not to pick her up.

"One time, I went to school alone without my mother, and the boys were staring. So I told my mother, 'Don't come to pick me up anymore, she said, causing laughter among the host and audience.

Now that she is 67, things have changed for Kim Hae Sook.

If most celebrities restrict comment features on social media and block entertainment sites on their mobiles, that is not the case for the award-winning actress.

According to her, she googles her name and spends minutes checking out what people and the media think about her.

"My hobby is searching for my own name, and that happens once every two minutes," she said, as reported by a media outlet.

As for the reason behind it, the actress said that it was all about curiosity.

"I'm curious about the reaction to my work, and I keep searching. I still do it often these days."

Interestingly, the actress revealed the comment that stuck with her the most.

"Among the comments, I saw a comment that said, 'Take care of yourself,' and it was funny," she said, expressing that she would get positive comments instead of the mean ones.

Lastly, Kim Hae Sook said that these are the little things that intrigue her, and now that she is at a point where she doesn't have any regrets in life, she is happy to move on.

The 67-year-old actress returns to the big screen and takes on a different kind of mother role.

Portraying the character of Bok Ja, she takes a break from the afterlife to spend time with her daughter Jin Joo, played by Shin Min Ah.

Bok Ja helps her daughter run a traditional Korean restaurant with her own recipe as the signature dish.

A heartwarming fantasy film, "Our Story," also features Kang Ki Young as the guide in the afterlife and Hwang Bo Ra as Mi Jin.

Kim Hae Sook and Shin Min Ah's new movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 6.
