Song Kang Successfully Concludes Last K-Drama Before Military Enlistment
K-heartthrob and one of the buzzworthy Korean acts in his generation, Song Kang once again stole the spotlight with his newly concluded series "My Demon." The romantic-comedy drama successfully ended on January 20 and received love from local and international viewers.
"My Demon" features the interesting story of a chaebol heiress and a demon. Song Kang played Jung Gu Won's character, a devil whose existence is both dangerous and flawless. He has been living for 200 years and engages in menacing yet sweet deals using human souls as collateral. However, his life changes when he meets Do Do Hee, played by Kim Yoo Jung.
The demon fell in love with the cold-hearted human. His character's transformation and impressive performance left a deep emotional impact on the viewers. Moreover, Jung Gu Won's intense romance becomes a big driving force to save Do Do Hee. In the drama, it was shown that Do Hee's father made a deal with him before her birth and chose to vanish himself to save the woman he loved from a deadly situation made by Noh Seok Min (Kim Tae Hoon).

As the drama closed its curtain, Song Kang freely conveyed his thoughts, expressing gratitude and cherishing the memories he had with co-stars and colleagues while filming "My Demon."
The promising actor said, "The time has flown by, and now 'My Demon' has concluded. As with all my works, I filmed the drama with happy memories, and I am always grateful for the love and support it received."

Due to his another successful work, expectations for his future endeavors also increase, particularly in the romance genre.
Song Kang's Enlistment Date Yet to Be Announced
Meanwhile, as Song Kang mentioned during his media interview, "My Demon" and "Sweet Home 2" will be his last acting projects as he is already preparing for his military enlistment.
The actor is expected to make a short exit in the entertainment beginning this year to fulfill his military service. Though he is already known to enter the army, his agency has not released a specific announcement yet about the date of his enlistment.
