Which kdrama star would you like to spend your holidays with? In Korea, many people consider Christmas a romantic holiday, one to spend with a loved one or close friends, while New Year's Day is a time for family.
So, if you did not have to spend the holiday with your family, which kdrama star would you want to find under your mistletoe? The stars of "The Heirs" are a popular choice.
Choi Jin Hyuk was recently quoted as saying he plans to spend Christmas Eve with his friend and "The Heirs" co-star Lee Min Ho. On an edition of TV Report, he talked about their holiday plans.
"When I asked Min Ho if he had any Christmas plans, he said that he didn't have anything special to do, so I suggested we meet for a drink," said Choi Jin Hyuk. "He responded with a cool 'deal,' so it looks like we will spend some quality time together. People say we are a lot alike and have similar personalities."
That's why they could play brothers so convincingly.
But it does seem unfair that these two attractive stars would deny others the pleasure of their company.
A recent poll indicates that Lee Min Ho is a popular choice to celebrate the holidays with. "'The Celebrity You Want To Dine Out With On Christmas Eve" poll had him in second place. First place went to his co-star Kim Woo Bin with 78 out of 151 female participants choosing him. It could be because he did not wind up with the girl in "The Heirs." Lee Min Ho came in second with 44 votes, while Gong Yoo, who appears in the film, "The Suspect." was third with 21 votes. Kim Soo Hyun, star of "You Who Came From The Stars" was next.
What about the male voters? Of the men, 87 out of 141 chose Suzy, who last appeared in "Gu Family Book." Park Shin Hye of "The Heirs" got 35 votes. Moon Chae Won, who appeared in "Good Doctor" achieved third place with 11 votes.
Most of the respondents preferred to cozy up with their favorite star in a ski resort. Next came an amusement park and finally a fancy restaurant. As to gifts, rings and watches were most popular. And yes, Kim Woo Bin giving you a ring under the mistletoe does sound nice.
