Kim Go Eun opened up about the unexpected call he received from this award-winning actor who encouraged her to join the cast of "Exhuma."
Park Jung Min Makes Unexpected Call to Kim Go Eun
The actress made her special guest appearance on Jung Jae Hyung's YouTube variety show on February 4. Kim Go Eun discussed more about her soon-to-premiere movie "Exhuma" helmed by Director Jang Jae Hyun.
As she shared more about the movie, Kim Go Eun remembered the spontaneous interaction she had with this famous actor.
On an ordinary day, the "Goblin" star shared that she received an unexpected call from Park Jung Min. Out of the blue, during their conversation, the male star recommended that she should join the cast of Jang Jae Hyun's forthcoming work.

"While I was filming 'Yumi's Cells' I got a phone call from Park Jung Min." The "Cheese in the Trap" actress elaborated that they are not particularly close but she believed that there has to be a solid reason for them to call each other.
How Kim Go Eun Became Part of 'Exhuma' Cast
Kim Go Eun continued and shared that while talking to Park Jung Min, the actor began gushing about Jang Jae Hyun and expressed his admiration for the director. The actress was confused as to why he was telling those things out of the blue.
As their conversation went on, Kim Go Eun said, "Park Jung Min recommended me to join the cast of 'Exhuma,' explaining that it is Jang Jae Hyun's next work. He told me that I'll be getting a script for it soon."
Later on, she got the script and the lead actress mentioned that "Exhuma's" script was attractive.
"When I read the script, my mind immediately began imagining how the scenes would play out. And the cast members were impressive too. I thought getting to watch them perform would be a great opportunity."
But more than anything, the actress was eagerly excited to work with veteran actor Choi Min Sik.
Furthermore, the occult-thriller movie "Exhuma" will finally hit the cinemas beginning February 22. Other stars to anticipate in the film are Yoo Hae Jin and Lee Do Hyun.
