Lee Ji Ah is once again under the microscope after showcasing "poor performance" in the JTBC drama "Queen of Divorce."

Many Korean netizens are dissatisfied with her skills, claiming that the actress didn't improve despite being in the industry for a long time.

Moreover, they also think that the series doesn't have a striking quality that leaves a lasting impression on the viewers..

Lee Ji Ah's 'Queen of Divorce' Performance Receives Criticisms

The controversy over Lee Ji Ah's comeback series "Queen of Divorce" continues as the production enters its final half of broadcast.

Previously, the actress was criticized for taking on the work that touches on sensitive themes, following her previous series "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise."

Many Korean netizens think that the work isn't interesting enough, leaving no impactful impressions despite casting a seasoned actress.

In the drama, Lee Ji Ah transforms into Kim Sa Ra, a divorce attorney who saves pitiful victims from unhappy marriages and bad spouses alongside Kang Ki Young's Dong Ki Joon.

Considering her two-decade experience in the acting scene, viewers think that it's a shameful situation that an actress like her couldn't captivate the public with her skills.

To recall, "Queen of Divorce" hasn't surpassed its stagnant average score of 5.7% since its premiere. One fan commented, "The series is full of dramedy but Lee Ji Ah's performance is just so flat."

Lee Ji Ah's awkward facial expressions are very noticeable, showing no emotion despite her character being angry, confused or sad which ruins the viewers' watching experience.

'Queen of Divorce' Love Line Fails To Capture Audiences

Apart from the actress' "lacking abilities," the love line in "Queen of Divorce" also failed to capture the attention of the viewers.

According to the viewers, Lee Ji Ah and Kang Ki Young's chemistry was off and it was Kang Ki Young and Oh Min Seok, who plays her ex-husband, who kept the drama going instead.

A viewer commented, "Lee Ji Ah's "Queen of Divorce" is filled with comical and high tension scenes but they weren't able to showcase the vibe through their performance and synergy."

As the show enters its second half, viewers are worried about its fate and conclusion. Many hope to see an improvement in its final six episodes, and turn everything around in the nick of time.
