‘The Resurrection of The Seven’ Hints at ‘New Condemner’

As viewers patiently waited for the highly anticipated continuation of the hit Makjang series, SBS dropped the first trailer of "The Resurrection of the Seven."

The sequel to the star-studded "The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival," the soon-to-be released part 2 teases viewers with more suspense and drama as the seven people plan their revenge against Matthew Lee.

'The Resurrection of the Seven' Trailer Features the Return of Lee Joon

With the majority of the cast members reprising their roles, SBS unveiled a sneak peek at what to expect in "The Resurrection of the Seven."

With a flashback of significant scenes in "The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival," the upcoming sequel featured an emotional Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum), who promises to give the great evil the hellish life he deserves.

"I will make sure to give you a vivid experience of everything that will break your bones apart."

The trailer also showcased some changes among the characters.

Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee) marries Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon) following the tragic death of Noh Paeng Hee (Han Bo Reum).

In addition, "The Resurrection of the Seven" hints at secret cooperation that will destroy Matthew Lee.

Interestingly, one of the highlights of the trailer is the return of Min Do Hyuk.

'The Resurrection of the Seven' Release Date and Cast

As mentioned, the majority of the cast will reprise their roles in "The Resurrection of the Seven."

With Uhm Ki Joon as the villain Matthew Lee, viewers will get to see Yoon Tae Young, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Yoo Bi, Yoon Jong Hoon, and more as the lead stars of the upcoming sequel.

Furthermore, the SBS Makjang series also welcomes CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin as the newest lead star, who will be taking on the role of Save Company CEO Hwang Cha Sung.

He will shake things up between the mighty seven and Matthew Lee. The upcoming sequel will also showcase his interest in Han Mo Ne, played by Lee Yoo Mi.

On the other hand, the upcoming season will continue the adventure between the vicious Matthew Lee and the seven people who have been reborn after a shocking incident.

The season will also highlight their revenge against the wicked villain.

Meanwhile, the long wait is over for fans as SBS will officially drop the pilot episode of "The Resurrection of the Seven" on March 29 at 10 p.m. KST.

The sequel will be the newest weekend SBS drama that will keep fans hooked in every episode.
