Lee Do Hyun, who received a nomination at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, confirmed his attendance at the prestigious event.

Lee Do Hyun is currently fulfilling his military service. Nonetheless, according to reports, the actor will make his appearance at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, which is scheduled to happen this May 7 at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The show is expected to start at 5 in the afternoon.

"Exhuma," his debut film, received the most nominations at this year's Baeksang Arts Awards.

Lee Do Hyun was also nominated for the Best New Actor Award in the film category.

His co-stars Choi Min Sik, Yoo Hae Jin, and Kim Go Eun, alongside director Jang Jae Hyeon joined the list of stars to attend the award show.

The occult-thriller movie "Exhuma," also known as "Pamyo," depicts the story of bizarre events involving a feng shui master, a mortician, and two shamans as they relocate mysterious graves in exchange for money.

"Exhuma" received a total of 8 nominations: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best New Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Scenario, and Best Technical Direction.

Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun's first big screen project together achieved continuous success after release. It immediately accumulated 10 million moviegoers in less than a month since it debuted.

Lee Do Hyun, who enlisted in the Air Force military band in August 2023, enjoyed the recognition that his first movie received. He failed to join the cast during the movie's promotions in February due to his military service.

However, the film amassed popularity and became a hot topic with record-breaking results. Thanks also to his movie debut, Lee Do Hyun was able to surpass 10 million followers on Instagram.

It has been said that to make his attendance at the meaningful award ceremony possible, Lee Do Hyun went through formal procedures and received permission while serving in the army.

Adding to the interest in the upcoming event is that aside from Lee Do Hyun, his former "The Glory" co-star and current girlfriend Lim Ji Yeon will also be present at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards as she was nominated as Best Actress in the TV/Drama Category for her performance in "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
