The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards have officially named the new winners for 2024; however, some seemed disappointed with the result.

As for the Best Actress and Actor for TV Best Actor, Namgoong Min of "My Dearest" and Honey Lee for "Knight Flower" were hailed as the new winners.
Amid the celebration of fans of both stars, others were frustrated with the decision, which led them to express their dismay on social media.
Uhm Jung Hwa Fans Saddened by Actress' Failure to Secure the Best Actress Award
In a post shared in an online community, fans wondered why the K-drama "Doctor Cha" missed out on bagging any type of award.
One of the nominations that the drama received was Best Actress for Uhm Jung Hwa's role as housewife turned medical practitioner Cha Jung Sook.
Joining the veteran actress in the said category are Ra Mi Ran for "The Good Bad Mother," Ahn Eun Jin in "My Dearest," and Lim Ji Yeon for "Lies Hidden in My Garden." As mentioned, it was Honey Lee who took home the title.
Following the ceremony, fans flocked to social media and online communities to express their dismay.
Some fans rallied behind Uhm Jung Hwa, while others pointed out why she deserves the Best Actress award.
"They should have recognized 'Doctor Cha' a bit more, seriously." "It's really unfortunate for 'Doctor Cha'... I wish Um Jung-hwa would win." "It had good ratings too; what a waste."
To recall, JTBC released "Doctor Cha" on April 15, where it created a huge craze by showcasing exciting plots and unique characters played by Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Byung Chul.
Fans Left Unsatisfied With Kim Soo Hyun's Popularity Award
Besides the major recognition, the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards also recognized stars based on their popularity. Kim Soo Hyun and IVE's An Yu Jin took home the PRIZM Popularity Award.
