Lee Dong Wook thrilled fans as the actor announces his special part in the highly-anticipated sequel, "Inside Out 2."

Following the speculations about the K-star who will be joining the Disney-Pixar film's second season, the actor's agency officially announced the actor's participation.

According to local media outlets, Lee Dong Wook's agency, King Kong by Starship, confirmed that the actor will have a cameo role in voice acting for "Inside Out 2."

Interestingly, this will mark the top star's first dubbing project and debut in Hollywood.

King Kong by Starship also teased fans about what to expect with the actor's participation in the upcoming sequel.

"I will bring you great laughter and fun, so please look forward to it."

Get to Know About Lee Dong Wook's 'Inside Out 2' Character

Helmed by Kelsey Mann for his directorial debut, "Inside Out 2" is a coming-of-age film animation by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures.

The story depicts the life of Riley, who discovers new emotions as she enters her teenage years.

In season 1, viewers get to see Riley's emotions through Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, played by Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black, who will return for the upcoming sequel.

Meanwhile, Liza Lapira from "The Equalizer" and Tony Hale from "Toy Story 4" will join as Disgust and Fear.

As for 13-year-old Riley Andersen, it will be played by Nickelodeon's Kensington Tallman.

Interestingly, "Inside Out 2" also welcomes new characters through Anxiety, played by Maya Hawke, as well as Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment, voiced by Ayo Edebiri, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Paul Walter Hauser, respectively.

As for Lee Dong Wook's "Inside Out 2" role, he takes on the character of Lance.

In the upcoming movie, Lance is the character of Riley's favorite video game when she was a child.

Following the announcement regarding Lee Dong Wook's "Inside Out 2" cameo, he expressed his excitement for his first dubbing performance."

"I will try my best to deliver big smiles and fun, so please look forward to it."

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Disney Pixar sequel will officially hit the big screen on June 12.

Other than his surprising cameo in "Inside Out 2," fans will be seeing more of Lee Dong Wook on the small screen as the top star is set to headline two upcoming K-dramas in 2024.

After his hit K-drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938," he starred in the novel based series "A Shop for Killers" with "Kingdom" villain Kim Hye Joon.

Interestingly, he will be returning with an interesting role in the thriller rom-com "The Good Man" alongside Lee Sung Kyung and Ryu Hye Young.
