Kim Jaejoong Returns to Acting Through 'Bad Memory Eraser' With Jin Se Yeon

Starting July with a new drama to anticipate, MBN confirmed that "Bad Memory Eraser" will occupy its Friday and Saturday slots. Ahead of its debut, the production released a teaser featuring the romance between its main protagonists.

"Bad Memory Eraser" tells the story of a man whose life changes due to a memory eraser and the woman who holds his fate in her hands.

Kim Jaejoong, who is making his acting comeback after six years, will headline this romance drama. He takes the role of Lee Kun, who was once a promising tennis player but lost his confidence after he got injured. However, all his memories vanish with a memory eraser, and he starts living with maximized confidence, self-esteem, and presence.

Opposite him is Jin Se Yeon, a neuropsychiatrist at a neurological research center, named Kyung Joo Yeon. She is dubbed a perfectionist who has a cold personality. She even earns the name 'ice princess,' but the truth is she feels awkward at expressing her feelings due to a painful incident in her past.

In the drama, she becomes Lee Kun's fake first love due to memory manipulation. To add more anticipation to the drama, MBN dropped the "Bad Memory Eraser" teaser.

'Bad Memory Eraser' Gives Glimpse of Kim Jaejoong & Jin Se Yeon's Chemistry

The video starts with the narration, "This man had finally erased the pain he wanted to forget for 15 years." The next scene goes to Lee Kun who is staring at Joo Yeon with affectionate eyes and asks, "Can I recover the memories I've lost?"

In response, Joo Yeon said, "It's okay if you can't remember. Because I remember."

As the video continued, it showed Kyung Joo Yeon asking Lee Kun if there was anything he wanted to do and she'd do it. In another scene, the two are sharing the same sky and romantically staring at the night sky view.

As Lee Kun looks at Joo Yeon's face, he gently says, "You are pretty that I want to protect you," displaying his flirty moves as he has no intention of committing to a serious relationship yet.

As he continues to flirt with her, Joo Yeon finds herself falling for his charms. Before the clip ends, it shows Lee Kun attempting to kiss Kyung Joo Yeon, raising anticipation about their upcoming screen romance.

"Bad Memory Eraser" is scheduled to meet the viewers beginning August 2 at 9:40 p.m. (KST) on MBN.
