Explore the latest insights into Ji Chang Wook's dating life as co-star Lim Ji Yeon playfully reveals her thoughts on his charm Instagram

Actor Ji Chang Wook's romantic life was briefly mentioned in a recent appearance on the YouTube channel Zzanbro alongside his co-star Lim Ji Yeon.

On August 12, the pair appeared on the show to promote their newly released movie, Revolver, which had South Korean theater openings on August 7.

Playfully taunting each other throughout the interview, they displayed their turbulent off-screen relationship.

Held under Shin Dong Youp's direction, the interview covered Ji's private dating life. Often regarded as one of K-Drama's most sought-after performers, Ji has kept chiefly a quiet profile about his personal life.

The host praised Ji for his capacity to keep his privacy during his dating life. Ji said, "I prefer dating quietly and breaking up quietly."

Grinning, Lim Ji Yeon said she knew Ji was romantically involved but refrained from poring over his personal affairs.

"We both are performers. Hence, I admire him. I value his romanticism. During the performance, she remarked, "How can women leave him alone when he is this handsome?"

The exchange was lighthearted, with Shin teasing Lim about bringing out her Glory, Park Yeon Jin character. Ji answered with a lighthearted reference to Lee Do Hyun 's lover of Lim, augmenting the episode's friendly banter.

The 'Revolver' Movie

Wook made a highly anticipated return to the big screen with his role in the film "Revolver." He plays Andy, described as a "cologne-wearing mad dog" with a reckless lifestyle.

The film follows Soo Young, portrayed by Jeon Do Yeon, a former police officer who seeks vengeance after taking the blame for crimes she did not commit. When Soo Young confronts Andy about a promise from their past, his dismissive attitude sparks a series of dramatic events.

Wook's portrayal of Andy marks a fresh and captivating departure from his previous roles in popular dramas such as "The Worst of Evil" and "Lovestruck in the City."

Ji Chang Wook reportedly expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "Andy intrigued me, and I felt I could bring something unique to the role."

He praised director Oh Seung Wook for enhancing the character's depth during filming. The actor also took great care in developing Andy's persona, experimenting with various costumes and delving into the character's backstory.

Director Oh Seung Wook commended Ji Chang Wook's performance, noting he brought a compelling complexity to Andy, likening him to a "sick emperor." Jeon Do Yeon also praised her co-star, saying he inspired her to perform with greater boldness.
