In a recent YouTube video, South Korean actor Lee Dong-wook talked openly about his dating problems. He said he wants to date but finds meeting suitable partners difficult.

The video on the "Tteun Tteun" channel was posted on August 13 with Lee, comedian Yoo Jae-suk, and others to celebrate the channel getting 2 million members.

"I no longer think I can date. I don't like it," Lee said. "You have to get to know her well before you go on a date. What should I do? It's really far away."

He was worried about starting a relationship because he's grown too used to being by himself, the 41-year-old actor said. When asked straight out if he wanted to date, Lee said, "I want to date, but it's annoying."

The actor was worried about how hard it would be to find lasting relationships as he got older. He said his busy schedule didn't allow him to meet new people. "There's not really any place where I meet people." He said, "It's hard to meet someone by accident."

Lee also said that his age was a problem and that he must be more careful when meeting new people. He told her, "There's no way to meet someone of the opposite sex. I can't pursue natural encounters anymore."

Yoo said that Lee's love life might be suffering because he is busy at work. "That's why you don't have the space in your heart to love," said Yoo.

Lee agreed and said that he likes being alone on his days off. "Because I work, I feel better when I'm by myself at home on my days off. I need some alone time without having to talk to anyone," he said.

Lee also talked about how he felt about his close friend Jo Se Ho getting married, jokingly showing some sadness.

During the conversation, Lee said something about Jo Se Ho: "It's been a while since I last heard that name." It's been a long since I heard "Jo Se Ho." He said that their last meeting was more than a month ago.

When Yoo Jae Suk said that Jo Se Ho had been busy dating and getting ready for the wedding, Lee joked, "I guess we won't see each other much anymore," which showed that he felt left out.

The other guests laughed, and Yoo Jae Suk made fun of her by asking, "Why are you so upset about Se Ho getting married?" Lee said he wasn't pouting, but he did say he felt a little ignored.

Since he has back-to-back movie projects going on right now, Lee Wook said that he likes to spend his days off by himself at home.

"When I'm alone at home, I can watch anything I want on OTT platforms," he said. But if there's even one other person with me, I have to think about what they want too."
