Actor Jisoo addressed the accusations of school violence from 2021 by stating that he has resolved any misunderstandings related to the issue and intends to make a comeback by engaging more on his YouTube channel in the future.
In a video uploaded on August 24 titled "Actor Kim Jisoo's 'JisooRoad' Movie Vlog Documentary, Jisoo reflected on his experiences from the four years as he embarked on a journey he once took alone from Seoul Station to Geomundo via KTX train line. He said, "It's been close to four years".
Jisoo reflected on the events, adding " In those four years, I went off to serve in the military and faced some challenging situations that led to misunderstandings among my friends which I eventually cleared up."He shared his eagerness to make a comeback in the entertainment field as a symbol of new beginnings.
In 2021, Jisoo faced a scandal related to claims of school bullying allegations were made against him. He publicly apologized saying"To those who were hurt because of me I offer my apologies."
As a result of the accusations, he was removed from the KBS 2TV series "River Where the Moon Rises," and his contract with Key East was terminated.In the same year, Jisoo filed a criminal complaint against alleged individuals spreading inaccurate information about him.He argued that the news articles and rumors being spread were unfounded and based on facts.
