Hyun Bin Promotes 'Harbin' Film at 2024 Toronto International Film Festival
Hyun Bin attended the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival yesterday. It was in honor of his new film 'Harbin' premiering at the event. Photos of Hyun Bin posing on the red carpet and greeting fans were uploaded on his agency's Instagram account. Vast Entertainment shared images of him looking handsome in a black suit.

Hyun Bin expressed that playing a patriotic martyr from history was challenging, but the opportunity to portray significant Korean heros is rare. Due to Koreans having strong opinions of Ahn Jung Geun, he mustered the courage to play him and "take the role in new directions," according to a report from 'Deadline.'
'Harbin,' which co-stars Lee Dong Wook, dramatizes the struggles of Korean citizens during the 1900s. The movie follows their mission to achieve independence from Japan and establish a new government. Hyun Bin plays historical figure, Ahn Jung Geun. Director Woo Min Ho, who is famous for 'The Man Standing Next' film, is behind this new production. Lee Dong Wook and Director Woo Min Ho joined Hyun Bin at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
"The fact that a film about Korea under Japanese occupation has been invited to the Toronto International Film Festival, one of the world's four major film festivals, is generating buzz even before its release, " an official from the production team said, according to The Korea Times.
