The show's posters are for the main cast, which includes Kim Tae-ri, Shin Ye-eun, and Jeong Eun-chae, but do not include or refer to the queer characters that were promised by the production team.

Fans have expressed their rage on thequoo, one of the biggest Korean online communities, calling out the broadcast station MBC and demanding answers for the exclusion of important characters from the promotional materials.

Many fans felt disappointed and upset by the station's decision to leave out significant characters, who are a major part of the original story.

"I can't believe they would promote this without acknowledging the queer characters that were supposed to be part of the story. This feels like a betrayal," one user, who's unamused when it comes to the subject of diverse stories and inclusion in media.

According to reports, there has been an ongoing dispute between MBC and TVN regarding the show's production company and creative ownership. Critics believe that this may have impacted the show's execution and the inclusion of queer stories in promotional materials.

Jeongnyeon will air on Korean television tvN starting on October 12th every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 hours
