Queen Woo is an action-packed historical drama. It discusses the troubles of Queen Woo as she became the leader of the country after the king's sudden death.

With five tribes eager for influence and princes ready to take the throne, she had to set up a king from scratch within 24 hours.

As part of the interview, Naver reported that Jung shared the difficulties she encountered preparing for the role. "After wrapping up Partners for Justice Season 2, I actually thought Season 3 would start soon.

However, as the projects are postponed individually, I want to find new works and develop other sides of myself as an actress," she said.

The actress shared her thoughts on adjusting to a flexible acting career.

"In the past, it felt more or less the same to play a motherly character, but the roles came to me less often. I think this is because too much time has passed by near the camera, but there is still more flexibility," she said.

Moreover, Jung explained how deciding to play Woo-soon impacted her transformation.

"The original script was heavier than the eight-part drama that was produced. At first, I didn't want to transform the character visually through nude scenes. However, I felt this character was a big challenge to me," she said.

Jung added that her previous roles were always calm and upright people, but Woo-soon is entirely different: "Seventy percent on instinct, a character who can be honest with himself." "I think this kind of drama makes me strongly think or act for myself," she said.

When asked how she would like people to remember her as an actress, Jung Yu Mi said: "I don't want to be an actress who is swollen from a distance-- not too much. I hope you can approach people in close proximity. Even if I don't get noticed, I want to be a friendly actress when I get old."
