Jin Ye Sol, the actress under public scrutiny four years ago for drunk driving, is to wed percussionist Kwon Seol-hu on Jan. 11, 2025.
The couple will tie the knot at a cathedral in Seoul, the news channel JTBC Entertainment News reported.
A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, Kwon is the host of "Kwon Seol-hu's Kwangdaebang," a YouTube channel in which he provides insight into classic Korean music.
Jin, who made his debut in 2009, faced controversy in June 2023 after being hit with drunk driving charges.
She had been in a series of minor accidents on Olympic-daero in Seoul and was later discovered asleep in her car at a stop light.

She registered over the legal limit of wine in her system, prompting her to soberly apologize to the public and question her choices.
"I'm really sorry for having delivered such unfortunate news," Jin said at the time. "I made a huge mistake that should never have happened due to my lack of judgment."
As all eyes are on her new chapter as her wedding approaches, Jin finds a fortune in her newfound experiences.
Jin has starred in hit dramas like "Birth of a Beauty," "The Great Wife" and "Today's Webtoon."
The wedding announcement has met with some mixed reactions, with many wishing her the best as she embarks on a new chapter despite her previous tribulations.
