Mino was said to have received sick leave for symptoms of social anxiety, panic, and bipolar disorders, according to a report from the South Korean media outlet Dispatch.

And YG Entertainment, the agency that represents WINNER, said all of their sick leave was taken in accordance with regulations.

However, Dispatch published photos of Mino, who was seen attending a DJ Party at a famous Goseong café in August 2023.

The rapper reportedly seemed at ease, as those at the event described: "While a shirtless Mino socialized, he was seen drinking alcohol and smoking."

"Mino drank and smoked cigarettes and we had a party," one attendee told Dispatch.

The report questioned Mino's explanation of suffering from social anxiety, saying there wasn't any visible distress shown by Mino throughout the incident.

On top of news about the party, Dispatch also reported that Mino has been running with a group, doing training runs, and even losing weight in preparation for his military discharge.

According to a member of the run crew, they run at least marathons together regularly.

The Military Manpower Administration has reported the case to the Mapo Police Station for investigation.

The authorities will scrutinise CCTV footage, entry and exit logs from the facility where Mino served, communication records, and witness statements.

As the investigation progresses, questions linger over Mino's claims of mental health and whether he received preferential treatment during his military service.

The case could have major consequences for his discharge status.

YG Entertainment has yet to comment on the latest developments.
