The incident on December 29 at Muan International Airport sent the country into mourning.

As reported by Sports Trend, a former Asiana Airlines flight attendant named Ryu Ui-Seo expressed her sadness in a post on social media on December 30.

She wrote: "How scary and difficult it must have been on the plane. I will continue to pray for the victims and their bereaved families who are left in deep sorrow."

Instagram influencer and YouTuber Sung Hae-eun, who appeared as a flight attendant on "Transfer Love 2," also expressed her sentiments. "It's devastating.

I express my deepest condolences. I pray for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace."

Another former flight attendant-turned-model and YouTuber, Kim Ji-young, also expressed her condolences.

"I will delay uploading my YouTube video this week by one week. I once again express my deepest condolences," she said on her social media account.

South Koreans are uniting in mourning for the victims of the disaster during the national period of mourning declared until the stroke of midnight on January 4, 2025.

Currently, the families are broken, and the communities are mourning as many go to social media to express their hurt and send prayers for those involved after the tragedy.
