BLACKPINK's Jisoo is getting a lot of criticism from fans and netizens for her new acting project, "Newtopia," after the trailer recently dropped.

In the trailer, which was released Tuesday, Jisoo plays Yeong Ju, a young woman about to embark on an intense relationship just as a zombie apocalypse hits the world.

Staged in a high-rise air defense unit in Seoul, "Newtopia" comes mid-zombie outbreak. The story centers around Jae Yun, a solider with personal issues, like a break-up with his girlfriend Yeong Ju, who gets involved in this tragic situation when she's looking for Jae Yun.

What could be an exciting combination of action and heartfelt storytelling is immediately derailed, however, with reactions mostly centering on how Jisoo was hardly in the trailer.

Social media trolls have slammed Jisoo for her delivery — pointing to her pronunciation and tonal quality.

One post on TheQoo was highly upvoted, with over 44,000 views as of this writing, with comments suggesting that viewers were disappointed.

Comments ranged from: "That voice is not made for acting. This is getting real," and "Jisoo. Please. Stop. Acting ... Worst out of all the bad acting I've seen."

Several viewers ridiculed her casting and insisted she should remain to music.
