An unreleased bed scene from the long-running South Korean reality show Single's Inferno 4 has sent fans and netizens into a furor with accusations of "evil editing."

The playful and lively interaction between the cast members Yuk Jun Seo and Lee Si An contrasts with the nature of their relationship dynamics in the show.
The clip features Si An playfully saying he wouldn't pick Jun Seo a second time, and Jun Seo is probing into Si An's childhood and claiming she could out-wrestle Si An and win.
The show was released, and soon after, viewers noticed the undeniable chemistry of the duo and criticized the editing of the show.
Fans feel that their relationship has been misrepresented by the edited version, resulting in many questioning Si An's final choice. Hence, they are calling out producers and editors to apologize for "manipulating" footage to manufacture drama and make fans "hate" them.
Viewers claim the show's post-production team made a conscious decision only to include awkward interactions and tension-filled scenes between Si An and Jun Seo while excluding heartwarming moments of the two together.
Fans, however, claim that the edited scenes contributed to the heavy backlash the couple received online, with Si An being sent misogynistic messages and Jun Seo being labeled as a predator.
One commenter on the fan site r/Singlesinferno2, which has become the go-to spot for fans to discuss the show, wrote: "The producers/editors really set both of them up for hate this season. It's frustrating how they consistently edited out their sweet moments in favor of creating 'drama' that no one asked for."
Although producers have published articles showcasing Si An and Jun Seo as having the "most real relationship" in the series, fans have a different take. Viewers reacted to the unreleased video clips with confusion over why the couple's chemistry was not shown in aired episodes.
However, critics said that in some cases, editing choices sought to boost ratings with more drama, which led to an unfair representation of those competing.
"Junseo and Sian could have been one of the most heartwarming relationships on the series so far," commented a viewer. "If they had actually shown their obvious chemistry, people wouldn't be so cruel online."
Viewers were drawn to the pair's on-screen chemistry, with one fan commenting in the video, "I felt like the connection between Si An and Jun Seo was genuine and enjoyable. This editing does not serve them right.
