Squid Game 2 actress Park Gyu Young may be in hot water after she accidentally leaked a major spoiler for the show's upcoming season three.

In a now-deleted post to her personal Instagram, the actress shared a seemingly innocuous image of herself resting, geared up in the pink uniform of her character Kang No Eul.

Park plays Kang, a North Korean defector who ends up joining the Squid Games as a pink soldier, in the show's most recent season.

What was noteworthy about her post, however, was the other pink soldier in the background.

The identity of the second pink soldier in the back appears to be Lee Jin Wook, who plays the role of Park Gyeong Seok, a father who joined the games to acquire money for his daughter's medical treatments.

In episode 7 of Season 2, player 001 (Lee Byung Hun, playing the role of the Front Man and masquerading as player Oh Young Il) betrayed the group, killing off some of the rebelling X-voting players.

As the pink soldiers round up the rest of the surviving rebels, Park Gyeong Seok can be last seen getting shot by a pink soldier and is presumably dead.

Park Gyu Young's Instagram picture, however, reveals that Park Gyeong Seok may have been intentionally shot in a way that would not kill him, turning him into a pink soldier.

Reportedly, Netflix includes high penalty fees in their contracts to prevent spoilers for future episodes or seasons of their shows. Park Gyu Young's agency has issued a short statement since the actor deleted the photo.

"Please confirm the details through Season 3," said Saram Entertainment.

The agency did not further expound on the matter, with Netflix nor other members of the Squid Game team addressing the issue.
