Top Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming broke the internet again after being subject to rumors with an influencer and entrepreneur Ye Ke after his recent scandal with the latter.
However, the specifics of the couple's rumored split seem shrouded in rumors after Ye was supposedly photographed showing off her baby bump.
In December 2024, just weeks after a public apology to fans and reporters, Huang deleted a social media post wherein he had previously confirmed his relationship with Ye.
The 15-years-younger Ye has sparked controversy since his April confirmation of their romance with actor and former husband of actress Angelababy.
Ye Ke was said to be carrying Huang's child, but neither of them responded to the report. The netizen also accused Ye of exaggerating her wealth and "fake posturing" regarding her family background.
She allegedly asked Huang for a $37 million "breakup fee" in November 2024, which she later denied.
According to 8days, the most recent round of backlash ignited after new pictures of Ye went viral where she appeared to be flaunting her bump.
Some observers, including Chinese blogger who goes by the name Monster, even speculated that she purposely had the sighting set up to claim that she and Huang were still together.
In a live stream called "Huang Xiaoming and Ye Ke did they breakup? He asserted that Ye Ke has hired paparazzi to leak her baby bump photos.
He claimed she donned a curve-hugging dress to show off a big pregnancy belly and set up a meeting with Xiaoming at the location where he was shooting, making sure their pictures would blow up in the press.

Not only would it elevate her status but create avenues for her business to continue to capitalize off Xiaoming's fame.
Huang has remained silent among the many rumors and accusations swirling around him.
At the same time, Ye Ke said in November that she would leave social media. She was quoted by SCMP as saying, "I was not a public figure before, and I don't plan to be one in the future. As an ordinary person, I simply wish to return to a calm and quiet life. Due to health issues and family reasons, I have decided to step away from the internet."
This will be their first child together, although Huang, 38, and 32 Ye have kids from previous relationships. Huang has a seven-year-old son with his ex-wife Angelababy, while Ye has a son and a daughter from her previous marriage.
