Choo Young Woo became famous for his recently aired drama The Tale of Lady Ok, starring Lim Ji Yeon, and the hit Netflix series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.

With his rising star visibility, he was invited to the well-known program of Hong Seok Chon, "Treasure Chest," which brings in hot male stars.

Choo Young Woo appeared on the show, and host Hong Seok Chon asked him what his ideal type was.

Choo added, "My ideal type is someone is one who likes particular things. Personality, for one, but also things such as fashion sense or even perfume, of course. A person who knows what they like, so to speak."

The hosts jokingly suggested that they suited his type and even offered themselves as a joke in the lighthearted segment.

Ddolddol Kim also mentioned the actor's sensitive nature in the interview: "From my research, I learned that Young Woo is so sensitive that he cries just from looking at leaves on the way."

Confirming the story, Choo said: "How do you know about that? I am usually quite sensitive. I think I shed tears of joy from being able to check it out (the leaves) in good health."

In a separate interview, the actor discussed his dating style, which is quite the opposite of his on-screen character.

"In my works, I appear straightforward, but in real life, I get nervous when I like someone too much. For example, now, I get tongue-tied, or I suddenly malfunction. The actor also admitted: "I even agonize over sending simple messages."

Hong Seok Cheon offered some sincere encouragement to the young star: "You are going through a really important phase in your life right now. As an Actor, I would rather see you connect with people in public and bring us joy than date. And as a co-worker and an uncle, that is exactly what I want."

Meanwhile, Choo Young Woo has been earning his breakout star status with his strong performance in The Tale Of Lady Ok.
