South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron, who recently starred in Netflix's mini-series Bloodhounds, was reportedly discovered on Sunday at her Seoul home, dead. She was 24.
Local reports by Yonhap News Agency and Korea Herald quoted the police as saying that Kim's body was found by a friend, who had arranged to meet her.

On Feb, 17, Yonhap News Agency reported that Korean police say her death is being ruled as a suicide.
"We believe she made an extreme choice and plan to handle it as a suicide," a police official told reporters.
Kim first became a public figure as a child actress when she debuted at age 9. Her rise to stardom began with her appearances in the 2010 action movie The Man from Nowhere and the 2012 thriller The Neighbour.
But in May 2022, things got rocky for Kim when she drunkenly crashed her car into an electrical transformer box on the side of the road.
It resulted in public outrage and a fine of 20 million won (around $13,850 USD). Kim gained inordinately much punishment: she withdrew from the public eye entirely and resigned from her role in the drama series Trolley.
Kim tried to make a comeback by acting last year but had to withdraw once again due to health problems.
Following the incident, however, her role in Bloodhounds was said to have been significantly diminished as most of her scenes were slashed.

Kim Sae Ron's Last Instagram Post
According to AllKpop, the final social media entry by Kim was an Instagram Story dedicated to the late Moon Bin, a member of the K-pop group Astro.

She captioned the post, "HBD♥" when she uploaded it on January 26, as the world remembers Moon Bin's passing.
Her profile picture was subsequently switched to that of a dandelion seed, reminiscent of Moon Bin's last post on social media.
Social media has seen an outpouring of condolences from fans and fellow collaborators alike.
"That is just the saddest news." One fan wrote, "My condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Kim Sae Ron," another said.
Throughout her career, Kim garnered multiple accolades, notably Best New Actress honors at various Korean arts ceremonies.
