Mae Young WWE hall of famer and one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time passed away last January 14, 2014.
It was reported by people.com that Mae Young was gravely ill and has been under hospice care for the past month.
She was removed on life support and on January 14, 2014, Mae Young the WWE hall of famer passed away at the age of 90.
Many of her colleagues took to twitter and posted tributes to her.

Wrestler and "Fast and the furious" star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson also had some words about Mae Young. He said on twitter "She's a wrestling pioneer. I truly had deep affection & respect for "Aunty Mae" Young. RIP. #IMissUMae"

Mae Young's first bout was in 1939.In 2000 she was crowned "Miss Royal Rumble," at the age of 77. In 2008, she was the third woman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. In March 2013, WWE stars and fans celebrated her 90th birthday live on Monday Night Raw.
