The LEGO Movie may have earned the No.1 spot in the box office sales ober the weekend, but for comedian Jerry Seinfeld, let's just say he isn't thrilled with the whole thing especially if he notices something is off and then he did.

Apparently Jerry Seinfeld accused the LEGO movie of stealing one of his jokes as he tweeted about the movie on his Twitter account by saying "I think Lego Movie stole my Superman has issues with Green Lantern bit" and goes on tweeting hilarious comments at the expense of the film much to the delight of the twitterverse.

If you're wondering what kind of joke Seinfeld was talking about, then feast your eyes on this. Apparently the film took a nod on the relationship between Superman and Green Lantern which in Seinfeld's eyes is similar to the one he made in 2004 via his "Superman & Seinfeld" American Express commercial. Here is a video of the said commercial along with a TV spot from the LEGO Movie.

Seinfeld's good friend, Ricky Gervais joined the bandwagon and the two dropped some hilarious (albeit offensive) jokes on Twitter.
