Like the announcer says, "Here Comes A New Challenger!" Capcom's resident arcade fighting game franchise, Street Fighter, has a new character and some new updates lined-up to make things more interesting for fans of the fighting game.
The new fighter's name is Decapre, and she will make her debut in the fourth updated SF4 version, Ultra Street Fighter 4. Although new to Ultra Street Fighter 4, little information about Decapre revealed that she first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 during the introduction of the game's boss M. Bison or Vega in Japan as a member of his personal elite assassins/body guards "The Dolls," and also resembles Street Fighter alumni Cammy White in both fighting style and body type, of course with a different twist.
Ultra Street Fighter 4 counts as Decapre's first fighting debut as a selected character along with 4 other fighters which includes Hugo, Poison, Elena, and Rolento in the series. Here is Decapre's trailer below.
Aside from Decapre, new features from USF4 have also been shown in the trailer below. It includes the "Red Focus Attack" which lets players absorb multiple hits and lets them "turn things around" with their opponent. "Ultra Combo Double" enables players to execute 2 ultra combo finishing moves. "Online Training" lets you train your character with other players online. And finally "Elimination", a mode that allows players to choose a set of characters to form a team and battle in classic elimination rounds.
Ultra Street Fighter 4 is set to release on the arcade on April 2014, in the consoles June 2014, and in the PC on August 2014, although various sources say the PC version will be delayed to get the console versions ready in the Capcom Cup.
