It's the "Anna Paquin" situation all over again. According to reports, X-Men Days of Future Past "Storm" appearance has been cut!

The New York Daily News quotes a source from the set of Singer's massive sequel as saying that Berry's mutant hero has been reduced in post-production.

"She only has one line in the whole movie. They're not telling her until the movie comes out."

Fans have speculated that 20th Century Fox is trying to shoehorn in all of Jennifer Lawrence's scenes as a replacement for Halle Berry's cut scenes. However these are only rumors and nothing has been confirmed yet.

Storm surfaced in the early trailers for X-Men: Days of Future Past, and appeared to be part of the post-apocalyptic future that the X-Men are trying to prevent.

Ever since the plot for X-Men Days of Future Past was revealed, fans have always assumed they would see the mutants who were part of Singer's initial X-Men films on the "apocalyptic future" timeline. Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen would then lead Rogue, Storm, Iceman and Kitty Pryde, all of whom would be enduring the vicious future. They would then send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back to the First Class timeline to try and stop Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) from launching a Sentinel program which led to the destruction of the mutants.

In response to the Daily News report, SuperHeroHype reached out to 20th Century Fox and came back with a reply:

"There is no truth to what the NY Daily News is claiming. [Berry] does some cool stuff in the movie. How much? You'll see on May 23."
