If you are wondering what Taylor Swift looks like as a cartoon character, then make sure to catch Sunday night's episode of Family Guy. The Grammy-Award winning singer was featured together with another country superstar in the adult animated sitcom last March 16.
To those who missed out on last Sunday's episode, here's how the story went. Peter Griffin (Seth MacFarlane) and the gang went to Nashville in search of God after the Patriots' loss. The group stumbled upon two of today's biggest female musicians at the Country Music Awards.
So how did Peter, Joe, Cleveland, and Quagmire end up at the CMAs? While the gang was on the way to the Music City, they saw a newspaper headline that showed the country sensation's relationship with the man upstairs. The headline says "Carrie Underwood Credits Her Success to Personal Relationship With God." So the group went to the CMAs to meet the American Idol alumni.
I'm sure TSwift fans are all excited to find out what Taylor Swift will be doing on the Family Guy. Instead of bumping into Underwood, the first superstar they saw was the "I Knew You Were Trouble" hitmaker. She was wearing a blue dress and tuning her guitar. Peter said, "Hey look! There's Taylor Swift! And there's Taylor Not-So-Swift." Another blonde-haired female singer was standing beside Swift, but she was bigger than her.
After the wacky bunch had a brief encounter with the 24-year old singer, they finally found Underwood. Peter approached the singer and said, "In that song 'Jesus Take the Wheel,' was that like the real Jesus or was it just some Mexican guy?"
The 31-year old country superstar was a bit annoyed by the question when suddenly Jesus appeared. The Jesus cartoon told Underwood, "Hey! You know I don't like you talking to other guys." The singer apologized to Jesus who later on asked her for some money. He said, "Give me 40 bucks. I want to buy a Toby Keith hat."
That ended the search of Peter and the rest of the Family Guy group for God; leaving Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood in their own country music world.
