Macworld 2014 Schedule: The long wait is over for Apple fans as the Macworld/iWorld Expo will finally happen on March 27-29. Last year, it was announced to happen on the first three days of February. The rescheduled event will move from Moscone West to Moscone North in San Francisco, as well.

The reason for this is IDG World Expo wants to avoid conflict with other big events such as the 2014 Super Bowl, which was played last February 2. It also aimed to give a little separation from the holidays, winter travel, and the annual CES conference in early January. Also, they managed to keep the annual timeline of the event, which always span from Thursday to Saturday. the planned February dates would have happened on a Saturday through Monday.

The highlights of this 3-day event will be 'The State of Apple Technology', as Macworld Senior VP and Editorial Director Jason Snell will share his insights on competitive positioning (and competitors), current technology implementations, social issues, and offer some prognostication on future products and technologies.

This would be followed by iOS Central: iOS 7 Tips and Tricks of the Trade, where Macworld's own Dan Moren and Serenity Caldwell will cover enhancements and improvements in Apple's latest operating system. They will show the arsenal of the powerful Operating System and will share various tips and tricks.

Both events will happen on Thursday.

On Friday, they will conduct Help Desk: Mac 911: Tips, Tricks, and Troubleshooting, which will be hosted by Christopher Breen, Senior Editor of Macworld. As much as other users are capable enough of navigating and troubleshooting their own devices, this is not the case for others. In this session, they will teach troubleshooting techniques the "Apple Way". Also, they will teach how to fully maximize the capabilities of Mac , iOS devices, and accompanying software and peripherals. In this session Macworld's Chris Breen will present some of his favorite tricks for making the most of the technology we use on a daily basis.
