Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin split after ten yeras of marriage, The announcement was published on the "Iron Man" actress' website GOOP yesterday. While there were speculations of troubles in their married life in the past, the couple seemed to be very much united.

Three weeks before the announcement of their split, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have been spotted together. Repport also has it that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin took the center stage at a benefit concert on March 8, to sing a now-bittersweet duet at House of Blues in Los Angeles.

This benefit event was conducted to raise funds for their kids' school, the John Thomas Dye School. According to US Weekly, Gwyneth Paltrow, 41, said she'd like to sing with Chris and selected the tune herself.

"Cruisin'," her song in the 2000 flick "Duets" with Huey Lewis was chosen by the actress. The movie was the directed by her late father, Bruce Paltrow.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's split would definitely be not easy on both as the couple have been married for over a decade.

In her Goop site, Gwyneth Paltrow said, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate."

This news comes days after Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin recently purchased a John Lautner-designed house in Malibu for $14 million, Los Angeles Times reports.

The house is built on a secluded space of land with tropical landscaping. The 3,650-square-foot house has all internal and external amenities to include a gym, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, an outdoor steam room, swimming pool, tennis court, and a lot more.
