Beyond: Two Souls Release Date: One of the most popular titles in Playstation’s history is Beyond: Two Souls. It was released last year to the PS3 and rumours are now suggesting that the game is coming over to the PS4.
NeoGAF user Dragonbane discovered references to a "Director's Cut" version of the game in a programmer's portfolio, since removed. The enhanced re-release would incorporate new scenes, including a scene where players control Jodie as a baby.
This is after information on the game got leaked on to the internet. The leak appears to be a screenshot which suggests it to be in development. The leak even revealed a cut-scene which belongs to the director’s cut version of the game.
As a matter of fact, Sony got it easy as Beyond Two Soles has all the files which are compatible with the PS4.
It is the same case for the game developer which has done it with The Dark Sorcerer tech demo. This demo eventually got rolled out to the public on E3 and it appeals to many.
Expect the same for Beyond Two Souls which will look to repeat the E3 release date. More importantly, it is still important to take this with a pinch of salt as the screenshot could just be a test instead of a porting.
In addition, there's apparently code that refers to the DualShock 4, and there's also images of Jodie rendered on PS4. You can see that in this demo reel below:
