Six new trailers have been revealed for Final Fantasy Agito and these videos feature new game mechanics and the game's producer confirms a possible western release soon.
The new gameplay features for Square Enix's mobile game came from the Famitsu app website as they release six new trailers of the game for the iOS and Android. Director Takahito Ebato and Art Director Sayoko Hoshino provided the narration for the trailers.
Final Fantasy Agito's new trailers featured some new gameplay mechanics such as character creation, voice selection for your created character and weapon selections. New locations are added like the Dorm Room and Fountain Plaza, and finally a motion portrait from each non-playable characters that are part of the game.
The first trailer lets players aim to become an Agito by completing combat missions and deepening their friendships by interacting with NPCs. The fate of the world is reliant on the game's "decision" system where votes of players affect the world's history.
The game will launch in Japan this month and it will be free-to-play, although some in-game items will have fees.
In an interview with US Gamer, Final Fantasy Agito producer Hajime Tabata revealed that not only will Final Fantasy Agito "definitely" be localized for a Western audience, he is hoping to bring Agito's companion title Final Fantasy Type-0 to the West via Sony's PLAYSTATION Network. Square Enix also registered trademarks for the "Final Fantasy Agito" title and logo in Europe.
