Halle Berry will star in the movie 'Kidnap.' The X-Men star will be playing a mother who will stop at nothing to rescue her kidnapped son. The Academy Award winning actress, who recently gave birth to son Maceo with Olivier Martinez, also spoke with People about how she's not worried about dieting off the baby weight.

Berry will star in 'Kidnap,' which will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura's Di Bonaventura Pictures according to the Hollywood Reporter. Lotus Entertainment is selling the project internationally and will shop Kidnap to foreign buyers at the Cannes Film Market.

Luis Prieto (Pusher) will direct the film and the script is written by Knate Gwaltney.

"Lorenzo is a renowned producer in the blockbuster action world, and we're very excited to be working on such an exciting high-concept project with him. We look forward to seeing him join forces with the incredible talent of Halle Berry and Luis Prieto on a project that is sure to appeal to audiences worldwide," said Lotus Entertainment chiefs Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel.

Halle Berry welcomed son Maceo Martinez with husband Olivier Martinez in October 2013. The 'X-Men' actress isn't in any rush to start dieting. Her son brings "more love, more joy" to her life, which is all she's concerned with.

"I'm healthy and that's really good," Berry told People Magazine at the 21st annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles on May 10. "When you're nursing you can't really diet because you have to keep producing milk."

"Listen, I'm healthy and I'm happy and that's all that matters," she added.

The 47-year-old actress doesn't worry about dieting because she doesn't have time to worry about dieting. She has her 6-year-old daughter Nahla to take care of, Maceo, and her upcoming sci-fi TV show, "Extant," to work on.

"[A new baby means] less sleep," she said. "And I'm working on the TV show. It's a new grind, it's a new rhythm. We're trying to get used to that. We're managing."
