The iPad Air 2 release date is coming sooner than expected.

The newest Apple gadget is said to be launched at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this summer. Along with iPad Air 2 release, new reports have also suggested that Apple will launch other products- iPhone 6, the new Macbook, iPad Mini 3, and the i0S 8- during the event.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted some notable features that the iPad Air 2 might have. Aside from having major improvements on its speed and performance because of the Apple A8 processor, he also suggested that it will have Apple's fingerprint scanner technology called Touch ID which first debuted on the iPhone 5S.

He also confidently mentioned that as with past Apple product launches, the camera almost always gets a significant upgrade. His prediction on the new Air? An 8 megapixel back camera.

It is also rumored that it will have an integrated display into its front panel making it much thinner and lighter. On top of that, it is also believed to have a 64-bit architecture for faster performance and an Intel chip-set just like those in Macbooks.

The tablet will also run on iOS 8 that will come with rumored features and functions such as the split-screen multitasking feature in mobile devices, which will enable users to use two applications at the same time.

According to TheWestSideStory.net, the projected cost of the iPad Air 2 will be around $500. This amount is based on the retail price of the original iPad Air in the market today. The projected amount might be far from the actual retail price of the new iPad, but Apple users already awaits its release with wallets open.

The WWDC and the speculated launch date of the new Apple products will take place in San Francisco on June 2-6, 2014. Although they are rumored to be released at the event, it won't be available until October explains ChristianToday.com
