Sofia Vergara is determined to be a mom again through surrogacy.
New reports from Closer Weekly revealed that the 41-year-old actress already had her eggs frozen in the hopes of having another child through a surrogate mother in the future.
This news just came out after the sultry Columbian broke off her engagement to fiancé Nick Loeb last month.
Despite the recent break-up, Vergara has already started on her plans of adding another child to her family. She already has a 20-year-old son with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez.
And while many will have their eyebrows raised at Vergara's decision to have another child, she shared that she is ready to experience motherhood all over again.
A source told Closer Weekly: "When Manolo was born, she was too young and scared to relax and enjoy being a mom. Now she's mature and successful enough to really appreciate the experience."
Vergara has also found a surrogate mother to bear the child for her.
"Sofia has a very close friend who knew how much she wanted to be a second-time mom, so she's volunteered to carry the child."
And while Vergara appears to have it all planned out already, it appears that she won't be running back to her ex's arms anytime soon.
The source told Closer, 'It's obvious she won't be having a baby with Nick."
In May, Sofia announced her split from Nick through her WhoSay profile:
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart."
'We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
However, MailOnline recently revealed that there might be another reason for the break-up. Vergara was reportedly still continuing her friendship with ex Chris Paciello which made Loeb suspicious.
A source said: "The split was in part due to Chris and the fact he and Sofia are still friends, on some level Sofia will always care about Chris and that drove Nick crazy."
