The upcoming sci-fi fantasy shooter "Destiny" will make headlines this E3 2014 week.
Destiny is a massively multiplayer online action role-playing first -person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. Destiny incorporates a "mythic science fiction" theme as players delve into the post-apocalyptic world of the game. Players assume the role of the "Guardians" the last defenders of humanity that are tasked to defend what is left mankind after the catastrophic event known as "the Collapse" that destroyed many colonies in space during Golden Age.
The official Instagram of Destiny recently posted a new teaser hinting its appearance at E3 2014 this week.
VG24/7 reported last week that Bungie will reveal further details for Destiny at the E3 2014 as an email flier of the game has been posted featuring the different planets and areas.
Meanwhile, Destiny's Beta test will have a four-day exclusive access for the PlayStation console.
According to reports from PlayStationLifeStyle.net, Reddit user "Probably_Unemployed" posted a screenshot of a website ad running on the game website GamesRadar. The ad mentioned a "Four Days Exclusive Beta Access Only on PlayStation."
When clicking the ad users will be led to Sony's "Greatness Awaits" website, with no other information other than the beta version. The website implies that beta access will only apply to both PlayStation 3 and 4.
Activision announced last month that Destiny beta will commence this month and gamers speculate that the beta test will happen in E3 2014 along with the four-day access.
Destiny is set to be released on September 9, 2014 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles.
