Videos of Justin Bieber reportedly telling racist jokes and using the N-word at the age of 14 surfaced last week.

The "Boyfriend" singer was reportedly seen trying to "cleanse his soul" with a bathtub baptism at a Manhattan church last week, according to Fox News.

Bieber's pastor, Carl Lentz, told TMZ that the 20-year-old singer sought atonement at the church after a week of Bible study.

The actual baptism reportedly took place in the church's bathroom and was performed by one of the singer's friends, the gossip website reported.

The New York Post's Page Six had reported that the Canadian singer was spotted scouting New York City churches with a private pool for the cleansing ritual.

He eventually decided it would be appropriate to conduct the baptism at the Hillsong Church's bathtub because it was private, according to TMZ.

"Justin is serious about his Christian faith, and after recent events, he needed to take a pause," a source told The Post back in February.

Recently, Justin's mentor, Usher, shared his thoughts on the racist jokes and comments that were made in the video that surfaced.

"As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn't always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist," stated Usher on his Instagram on Saturday along with a picture of himself with Bieber.

Usher added, "What he was 5 years ago was a naïve child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes."

Whoopi Goldberg, Mike Tyson, Young Money, Floyd Mayweather and Souljah Boy have all shown support for Justin Bieber after the videos of the racist comments began circulating.
